Im working on my 60K maintenance and am done besides replacing the spark plugs, and engine valve clearance. I found a guide for the spark plugs. I cant seem to be able to find any info on engine valve clearance. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Damn they recommend valve clearance adjustment, idk why I assumed the fks didn't have it? Seems pretty in-depth for 60k. I wouldn't touch it.

service manual says there is no direct valve clearance adjustment for the 2gr-fks, because it has hydraulic lash adjusters. but listed at 60k.

Must have been a mistake in the 16 service and they fixed it with 17. Makes my day tomorrow a little easier.

Havent picked any up yet. Whats the go to? Oreillys has AutoLite Iridium XP or Champion Iridium. Doesnt have to be those, but its what is closest.

I don't fuck around with ignition stuff. When it comes time I'll go OEM. My old Honda's were notoriously temperamental, I learned my lesson haha.

I will add to that and say buy plugs at your local auto parts store or dealer. Amazon and Ebay are full of really good fakes (coils and plugs especially).

Your truck would have had 3 NGK and 3 Denso plugs from the Factory, most just go with 6 Denso's when changing.

Just did mine on my ‘15. Yep if original plugs you’ll have 3 ngk and 3 densos. Dealer where im from gave me 6 denso and they where super cheap (like 3.95 cad). Only thing to watch out for as I remember there where some o rings on the coil boot that liked to slip out of there groove so just be mindful
