If I recall the price breakdown - it was just over $100 for plugs (parts & labor). The rest was oil filter ($6) and labor for the other stuff.

Which dealer do you go to? My 2017 (do realize this is a 2nd gen thread) came from Lee in Topsham and I live near Augusta.

Last Tacoma was a '99 PreRunner so no front TC or dif so a bit of sticker shock.

You didn’t follow through and confirm what services were to be provided... it’s a pretty common issue.

At 60k you should be looking at: 1. A second spark plug change, 2. Your second diff oil change, 3. An ATF swap, 4. When was the last time your brake fluid was swapped? This will set you up nicely for 90k and then 100k when you can do belt, P/S fluid, and coolant.

It’s nice to space out the bigger items.

Or, if you aren’t going to keep the vehicle past 150k don’t bother doing any of it because you’ll just throw it away and get something else. It can be someone else’s problem at that point.

I’m very proactive on my maintenance so every 30k my truck gets:

    Fresh plugs
Fresh fluids in both boxes, transfer case & manual transmission. All RedLine products so that carries a hefty price tag.

I too run Mobil1 with and OCI of 5-7.5k and throw in new air filters every 6 months or so.

The only time I step into the dealer is to haggle over the price of gaskets and oil filters.
