6112/5160 with icon 1.5 add a leaf

Getting 6112/5160 with icon 1.5 add a leaf on my 21 trd offoroad long bed. Whats the best notch settings? Dont want to get the bro lean look i mainly carryin camping gears thanks for helping. And also do i need UCA?

 

I went 4/5, that gave me around a little more of an inch lift in this front and pretty level all around with a slight rake. Kind of like the lift/looks of a TRD Pro. For my height I didnt need uca's but still purchase the SPC's in case i want to go higher in the future.

 

I’m at 6/5 600lb coils. IMO great set up. Dclb Lift measurements with my 5100’s were the same.

 

I just bought the same truck and was going for the same setup. Thanks for asking the question that I was going to do and thanks to all those that respond for providing the info.

So how do those compare to the 5100s performance wise so far?

 

On road softer than the 5100’s , off road will be testing them out in a couple of weeks. Only had them for 2 days before we left for vacation. I’m itching to drive her. Definitely will report back

 

OP IMO I would purchase UCA’s a plus for alignment etc. lots of pros on getting them.

 

I have that same setup. Fronts on 4/5 settings. No UCAs, no need for them with that level of lift. Truck is aligned perfectly, drives great.

I do wish I had gone for a full leaf pack in the back instead of the icon 3 leaf aal. I have a Leer topper and a platform, and routinely load up for rafting trips and camping, and the back says a bit. Eventually I’ll be upgrading to a full dobinsons leaf pack.

Im thinking going on that 6/5 set up so i can get the 2inch lift. Did u get any vibration?

 

I am going to install my 6112/5160 soon on the 4th and 5th notch with Camburg UCA. I was wondering if ill be able to run 285/75/17 at 4th and 5th notch or would i have to go 5/6.

 

That’s a hit and miss. Most likely you will need ECG’s done. IMO do it now when your whole front is apart. Definitely go 6/5 you will get 2” of lift

Don’t be sorry bro. ECG’s a bushing that fails with these trucks when lifted. I’ll attached a link.

 

Im gonna have the shop to install it for me next week do i need differential drop kit?

I did do a diff drop but some say not needed. I haven’t noticed any cons to it. Hope that helps.
