Anybody running 5100s with OME 885x springs? Tying to debate between OME or Eibach springs. OME I can get 2 plus inches with 0 setting but eibach I have to set at .85 to get the same.

 

Not sure if I have 885s or 885x. But I'm running OME coils.

think they just revised them to prevent the sag. Yours were still in great shape though when we installed.

What setting are you running? I hear some people saying they have no problems with OME and 5100s and others saying you shouldn't mix them. I'm confused ha ha.

 

did you have to crank your shocks up for your bumper??

 

Can't remember what they are set at but I didn't adjust after the bumper.

They should be set at 0 and give you around 2-2.5 inches. I'd like to set them at 0 so I can keep ride and travel which I wouldn't be able to do on the eibach as much.

 

So this is Team Mia one of the many children from HIPDYSPLASIA.org that will recieve all proceeds from the car wash I'm trying to get together for Dec.1st. it will be held in Fontana-909..

Mia was diagnosed with 'bilateral' hip dysplasia, meaning that both hips were affected, at the age of 2. Since her diagnosis in June of 2011, she has gone through 2 extensive corrective surgeries to attempt to build her hip sockets. Because Mia's femurs were dysplased for so long, her body had actually begun to build a second set of hip sockets a little higher up than where her real ones should have been. Mia's surgeries were successful, and she is recovering. Mia is currently in a 'spica' cast, which is a body cast and goes from her arm pits to her ankles, and she will wear this for 8 weeks. After the cast is removed, she will learn to crawl, walk and run again, this being the 3rd time. Mia will need 2 more surgeries before the age of 5 to remove the hardware inside, and then she will require more surgery at ages 5, 8, etc. Hip Dysplasia and its effects are lifelong and with it the risks of lifelong disability.
