^ how is the ride now ?? Did the springs settle anymore.

For just the front or all 4 corners?

 

Yeah what time? I'll come by and install my CB too that way all I have to do is just screw my antenna on and tune it.

 

Rides a bit better now. Just wanted to have the springs for when I get spindles. Then i will have little to no preload. Not a huge difference between the 600lbs springs from 700lbs

 

Not to shabby for $320

Been out of work since February and won't go back till this coming February. Everyone thinks that getting paid to sit on your ass at home is awesome... let me tell you, it sucks! I'm bored all the dam time and just getting more fat

I get off of work around 430 and i am close to to Hiatt house so i was going to head over right way.

That's pretty good I would just take the truck to them and they'll do it right the first time and it be worth it in the end. How much would you save if you just to the clam shell and the third member to them

Btw ryan if be careful.with the magnetic attenna because it will make a sun spot type mark whereever you pit it.

Magnet mount antennas are really only designed for temporary use and not recommended for permanent use. If you decide to make that your primary antenna anyways, make sure to occasionally move it around slightly to uncover the spot it was on. Also, every time you wash or move it, be sure to wipe down the area under the antenna. Not only will it create a spot on the paint as well as scratches, but any dirt and moisture trapped under the magnet can cause deterioration and rusting of the paint and roof. Just a heads up.

I'll be installing my CB (no antenna yet) and uninstalling my rear light bar for replacement. Let me know if you guys need me to bring any tools or supplies.

 

only best way to mount an antenna is to drill into the roof and mount a NMO style connector. ground plane and reflectivity is everything. also running a 5/8 wave antenna will give the best signal and gain as opposed to running a mag mount which is a 1/4 wave antenna . something to keep in mind tho is the 5/8 wave antenna is longer then the 1/4 wave. i will switch between the both depending on terrian.. but obviously most wont want to drill into the roof..

you can see my "sun spot" from my mag mount cb antenna.. ive had that mag mount since 2003 and still working great even tho i never use the cb anymore

My swr meter is always in my truck. I was also under if i could stick some tape under the mount ?
