    My pops said he didnt need me to go anymore so i think im gonna spend the dsy changing out all the fluids in the truck... fun!! Lol id rather be at cleghorn thats for sure...

    Sooooo.......
    Didn't know there was a meet today. But I went to Cleghorn around 1:30. Then headed over and started pilot rock. Had to turn around about 30 minutes into it though since a friend had to leave. About a half mile before the main dirt road I could hear a slight clicking noise. So when we got back to the main dirt road right at the entrance I started airing up and noticed something FUBAR. I guess on the way up I hit something hard. My center support bearing mount, one of them, completely snapped off. The other was cracked and barely hanging on. The sound I was hearing was the shaft rubbing on the gas tank skid plate. The crappy stock one. Tore through that and was about to start at the tank. Also, the bearing shifted in the pillow block housing. I have an aftermarket bearing. So managed to push it back to the center. Then I used a ratchet strap to hold it up. Then tied some wire I had around it just in case. Drive home at 25-30mph the whole way home to Fontana.

    Now to find a place to make and weld on some new mounts to the crossmember. I always knew the stock ones were flimsy. But after I got under there and could bend them by hand I realized they were worse than I thought. I don't know if the bearing can be saved. Driveshafts should be fine though.
