    holy cow their runs get smaller and smaller each year. i did the same run back in 2008 with them and there was at least 25-30 rigs that showed up. its a great run with awesome scenery. back then they had the base camp at Truck Haven that was 90 miles from the trail and that was a bitch since we burned at least a 1/4 tank of gas with no gas stations close to the trail head.

    I know the advanced group at Big Bear Forest Fest (40" tires and rock jock 60's) did one of the two.

    Hmmm...I usually camp there, but I think this time we're going to try camping on BLM because we plan to bring some firepower. Fish Creek camp is in park boundaries, and I'm pretty sure it's a felony to bring a weapon into Anza. Bummer.

    I've done almost all of Fish Creek Wash already, with the exception of heart attack hill and broken shaft gulch.
