I use to work at Frys so I got this put on my truck.
I liked it at first because it actually worked. But every once in a while it would automatically pause the music, skip the song, or mess with the volume.
I didn't mind it because it happend maby once every 30 min. But then it started getting worse. It would do it every 5 seconds.
So I took off the adapter and everything worked fine.
I just realized that moving my hand a couple inches wasn't worth the headache.

Stock oil would be 80/90 wieght but I would suggest 75/140 lucus oil. Don't forget to add LSD additive.

Edit: get the regular oil and not synthetic

Okay, do you know how much oil? And how much on the additive to add?

Or is there an oil with the additive already?

3 qts oil will do it. The additive will come in a little bottle. Just squeeze the contents into the diff before you fill it with the gear oil.

Since your on the topic of oil, Tom how do you feel about engine additives? My engine has about 800 miles now after the swap and every 200 miles the oil level slightly drops. I did an oil change at 550ish and its been fine ever since but i was thinking of adding something like this:

I don't like using engine additives in modern motors such as what's in our tacomas..

Sounds like the motor is burning oil. Do you see any blueish color exhaust at first startup in the morning? Maybe pull each spark plug to see what they look like.

Yeah well it was sitting for 2-3 years so I was told it could burn a little oil in the beginning. I'll have to check out the exhaust in the morning. The spark plugs looked good during install, they came off my old motor along with the pulleys, belt, and a couple things. I'll just drive some more, im probably too paranoid:p
