    yea it is drill out.

    I might have to make the holes on the bumper bigger to be able to move the spool lever and connect remote control.


    Is the winch timble easy to assemble? what page on your build is your winch pictured at???

    There are some pictures on page 17. I pulled the winch control plug out of the solenoid box and mounted it directly to the bumper. There was enough wire tucked inside the box that I didn't need to splice anything. Did you get a Factor 55 thimble?? If you did it only requires snap ring pliers to put it on. It was a bigger pain in the ass to get the original hook off the rope because it was put on then the rope was braided together so I had to cut it off with some air tools. Thimble went on in about 10 seconds after that.
