Hello everyone, my name is Shawn and I have been following this thread for awhile and I am quite envious of your outings and trucks. I am itching to take my new taco 4x4 off pavement to start learning the ropes of wheeling. You all seem to go fairly often, is there room for an extreme newb? The taco is bone stock, pizza cutters and fail tires. Is there anything tame enough around here w/o investing in new gear, and not beat up my brand new baby? I know it can't stay that way forever. 2014 DCSB V6 Auto TuRD OR.

 

Welcome, man. There is tons of stuff around here that a stock Taco can do. Most local trails are doable.

Welcome How is it going? My 13 dclb is stock. I went with them to little creek. It was a blast.

 

Its going great. Drove the truck up Hwy 1 to SF the 2nd week with the wife and new dog. Great trip!

Welcome to the new guys. My truck is stock and I can hang with pretty much all these guys except for some crazy stuff but thats more due to me not having 4x4.

If you want to go out, always a good ideal to go with other people, and bringing a tow strap and recovery hook wouldn't be a bad idea.
