    An aluminum bumper will suffice for a lot of people. If you are beating on rocks all the time then stay with steel. I have been working on a light weight line for this reason. AP beat me to it but it's a big market, hoping I can swing the new aluminum mig welding spool soon.

    Was thinking of a tube bumper just to save on weight and also not having to invest into the suspension along with the armor to deal with the weight. I do not PLAN on rock crawling or dealing with obstacles in a manner which would require heavier protection, and by planning, I realize sh|t happens and at some point the steel would be good to have, just not in the big picture.

    Me gusta the design/material...no me gusta the price.
