Sure did :jerkoff: but I got it for $170 cause of a discount

Naw, I was there twice in one week and told them I was going out offroading. They said as long as it can fit on their rack they will do the alignment. My buddy went to one and the cashier told him that if he wants a good alignment to come in between wed and sunday at a certain location to get the really good techs.

Would of gone that route but the purpose for the radio was to talk locally with people I'm wheelen with and the pa to scare people. It's a good laugh playing ice cream man music over the pa in the middle heavy traffic. And to yell at stupid drivers.

The chino hills one honors it on LT trucks lol...(don't personally have it but someone I know does and went there before selling his truck)

Yeah the one in Chino hills has a tech who specializes in lifts so they do it there. You have to request him though but i forget his name. Just call first. I think its scott or something like that

Most everyone around are all using 2meter/race radios. I would say the greater majority now.

I would get a handheld for now. Works great and you can carry it with you when you're out of the truck and spotting ppl. Especially if just using for trails. Why spend around $200 for a setup if just for trail reasons with a big group. Also, can't beat $40. But then again the whole 75 watts is probably good for emergencies in no cell areas and alone.

5 watts of power is plenty enough from a hand held. Jasmines handheld can hit the Lake Big Bear repeater from Johnson Valley...and from the Monrovia/ Duarte area. It's a cheap Chinese hand held from Wouxun and it's been kicking around with our abuse for nearly 3 years now.

Yup. Very impressed with mine. Was thinking about a setup but this handheld does the job on trails. So I think a setup can wait for now.

That is why I want a set up. Sometimes I like to explore. I also live in the mountains and if there was an emergency such as fire or wind knocking out power lines then I would like a way to get a hold of my wife. When I get her a new car I want to instal one in hers as well

Wow that is nice! I thought about a hand held. I know tom has a nice set up with a hand held and it would be nice to have one for spotting.
