Used dremel to cut out plastic in center counsel for c.b.

 

this is the best way to cut your interior

 

They are notorious for bad solenoids. Had to replace mine. There are many topics everywhere on how to rebuild the damn thing in order to make it more efficiently. The grease that is packed inside from the factory is like tar and that ain't exaggerating.

The one I have is marked with T - Max on the inside cover. Noticed that when I took the cover off to rotate the lever so it matche's the access hole on my bumper

X5 with the dremel with cut off wheel.

Measure x373739837 cut x1. Make it smaller than you think then file out the difference. that 3 switch panel doesnt have much lip to cover up mistakes

 

Yah def go TC. More money but you'll never have to worry about it. That and TC is in CA. Allpro is in Montana now.

 

My tubular lowers have been holding up just fine over the years ..plus the tubular lowers go over rocks better then a boxed lower. Check out some the peeps that crawl with the TC kit and you'll see what I mean.

Allpro sent LT kit to that customer..they sent lowers for a FJ instead, I remember that thread lol

Edit: either kit that you choose will be great and will serve you will. If you want local you should check out LSK! Surprised Hiatt didn't recommend LSK with all the hookups that they have giving him

 

Only thing I've seen fail on the allpro kit was the upper and it separated from the uniball cup.

As for LSK, they don't have a 2" kit and they are busy making their vertical uniball race kit this summer

 

LSK will make a 2" kit..they have stated it's already on CAD and ready to go as soon as someone orders it

 

Solo has a 2 inch over kit on the shelf ready to go last I heard.

 

I am pretty sure I will end up long travel or solid axel. I love the idea of a solid axel truck but long travel seems more practical.

 

Well in cali you can go either way and have fun. Plus I've seen Rod handle cleg in his truck.

 

Anyone had ideas on what these current issues with my truck may be? I'm thinking CV replacement, but the red spot now has me worried.
