I dont plan on ever going LT just isnt my thing. I know im 2wd and expo is dumb but i plan on an arb locker and more recovery gear and just go that route. A nice MT is what ill stick with. But you'll be happy with it. I know you've been debating for some time now lol

 

Btw, the finished front end... still gotta replace the fairlead with a black one and repaint the led bar black. Also gonna install ny retros next week once i finish them up. Then will come the suspension isntall and lastly bigger tires. Have it all just gotta install it all lol

It was a loose wire. I had talked to him after that happened

 

Its a decent winch. Not a warn but its not some cheap off brand one either. It failed on his very first use with it actually trying to pull me out lol. He told me that the selenoid box was mounted next to the winch and was not sealed properly and was all wet inside. He called ENGO and they send him a brand new box and internals and he relocated it inside the engine bay. He gave me the old and new parts so i have an extra box too. He said every use after replacing the control box after that first failure has worked perfectly. Im sure ill upgrade later to a warn but right now it was practically free and even with all these new toys i dont plan on pushing things so hard that I plan on relying on it. Its more of a backup. Besides I am still 2wd with no locker and 5100s up front so its not like im all of a sudden gonna be rock crawling and stuff lol. Itll be good for now.

 

So i know you just told me that you plan on replacing your OEM fog switch with a rocker like these. I learned somthing during install that I thought id share.... All of my switches i ordered have lower independent blue lights that come on with the dash lights and upper independent red leds that light only when the switch is on..... Well after install I noticed that the "navigation lights" switch that replaced the OEM fog switch would not light up red when the switch was on I thought I wired it backwards but come to find out that the oem switch is ground switched instead of 12v switch like normal. SOOO, you technically "can" rewire it all to work correctly, but I decided that since I drive with the fogs on all the time and dont want the red led on all day long and also this isnt a switch i can accidently leave on since it cuts off with the ignition, I decided to just leave it that way since it works better for me anyways.

So long story short just keep in mind that unless you plan on a full rewire then just get a single "independent" led switch to match the dash. No need for 2 led switches for that one.

 

I'm working on the truck today at the shop if anybody is bored. Getting prepped for Moab.

Told you bro that place is crazy for rust on your truck pressure wash your truck like crazy!!!!!! Or grind it off and repaint it that's what I would do

Yea. Didn't think it was going to be that bad. Just surface rust tho. I was under the truck washing yesterday, but can't get everything. Gonna do it again tonight.
