So the install of the lift is finished....(too dark for pics so maybe tomorrow) BUT i have 2 major problems.

First, the bleeder valve nipple on the driver caliper broke off :( Luckily it was shut so the part that is broken off inside the caliper is keeping the fluid in and sealed for now. Bleed that brake through the hard line. Question is does anyone know if you can buy just a new bleeder nipple and I can get an extractor to get the broken threads out of the caliper in just put a new one on or am I stuck buying an entire new caliper? Autozone had nothin helpful and no dealerships are open until monday for parts.

Second, My slip yoke is WAY TOO FAR out and now my carrier bearing boot is also making a very loud squeak because the boot is pulled back too far. I measured and need a 1" driveshaft spacer ASAP before I blow out the CB. Anyone know any local shops that might carry these in stock that I can call first thing tomorrow?

Depends if you can get that nipple out with an extractor. Did it break from torque? I have a few extractors I can bring for the mod day. As for the driveshaft spacer, maybe go to nicks shop. I think he is closed tomorrow (Sunday) but he can make you one. He made me one for $80.

Thanks hiatt. Yeah it was the last of the 4 for bleeding... pumped the pedal, went to loosen valve and "snap" and the nipple fell into the bucket. No leaks so somehow its still sealed. Even punchee the brakes hard from 30mph and its all good. Im just worried about how safe it is to drive on now and if we got ALL the air out. Like how much pressure will it withstand you know what I mean. Hopefully an extractor will work because a $350 caliper all because of a $5 nipple will really piss me off

Word of advise for bleeder screws and other rusted bolts. If it looks rusted. Spray penetrating oil. TIGHTEN then LOOSEN. And repeat.

You can use a generic bleeder screw as long as the thread I the same. Toyota hasn't changed the style in 30 years

Thanks. I found the bleeder valve at an autozone that matches threads. Now I have to find an extractor and left hand drill bit small enough

Its on the inside of the driver caliper. The bleeder valve nipple broke off. Im getting a new oem valve from the dealer this week so if you think you can get that out you will save me over $300 on a new caliper

So you don't think your kit will work? I don't mind buying the stuff I need, I just don't know what I need or how to use it haha. I'll figure it out though. Think home depot or lowes would have it too?
