Anthony, your truck doesn't have a slip yoke unless you added one. You must mean the carrier bearing. Nick can make you one but he prolly didn't know what you were talking about if you said "slip yoke". Only person who makes them is a guy on here named "streettacos". He has a website. Look him up.

The tranny yoke is some times refered to as a slip yoke too...even the dumb peeps at dealer

 

What do you guys recommend for cleaning the trd seats?

 

Whatever extends out of the tranny. Its pulled out a full inch and doesnt seem very stable. Ive seen the spacers online that I need. Ive even found a couple threads about it but cant find any links. Nick thought I meant the CB drop but i showed him a picture and he said to try a machine shop. Ill get pictures later for you guys

 

In a bowl add some vinegar, hot water and dish soap and with a rag clean them.

Look online there's a bunch of things for the fabric

Mine was but I added that slip yoke for that reason to push the transmission yoke flush

So I found my stupid spacer that I need! Took long enough and cost me $82 but it will be WELL worth it.

 

In case anyone was curious or is having a similar issue with vibes or take off shudder, this:

is the thread that shows the solution. First post on top of page 8 shows pics of what mine looked like exactly. you can see the driveshaft pulled out of the transmission yoke by quite a bit. you can also see the rubber boot on the carrier bearing pulled out alot. Both of those issues can cause your CB to go out very fast and can also damage the seal in the tranny yoke. Scroll down a few posts and it shows the spacer that was added and how it solves all of the problems and puts the shaft back to the correct position. Then add a small CB drop and problems solved. back to stock angles and no vibes.

 

What would cause a steering when wobble ONLY during braking and ONLY during 40-50pmh. I thought only warped rotors caused that but wouldn't it be at any speed during braking?

 

No warp rotors can be at a random speed as well. Or unbalanced tires too

 

My warped rotors shook my steering wheels at 60-65 my bend wheel shook it at 55-60 hahaha. Fml
