Helluva way to try and score a date, Anthony. Glad you're alright, and that it was your rear bumper and not your awesome front kickass Demello bumper with the even cooler fairlead.

Naw, just pulled into New Orleans last night. Staying for 3 months. Best gas mileage for my Abrams tank? 18mpg. Worst? 12.5.

How's that new home treating you?

She actually wasnt driving like a dumbass at all. It was a blind hill nobody could see over the hill. At 1030 pm nobody expected traffic to be stopped and just doing the speed limit. I have only a few feet from destroying the car in front of me. If she hadnt of rear ended me then someone would have hit her. It was bound to happen.
    :)
    Wow!
    Smh
2014 ford fiesta. He airbags didnt even deploy and her tires clearly locked up. With proper functioning abs she shouldn't have hit me. And with the damage to her car her air bags definitly should have deployed! My hitch receiver went through her radiator and broke the headers off and smasher her aibox open. Windshield smashed and A pillars flexee up onto the roof. That was one hell of a fail on Fords end
I did drive her home ;) she "felt safer" with me than in the towtruck haha. Even complimented the truck haha. Too bad her dad was waiting outside when we got there :( lol

Haha but its all good i came home to my GF so thats all that matters to me

Should see the license pic of the hot 18 year old blonde that rear ended Jasmine..I should say car full of hot 18 year blondes that were on their way to the beach. Luckily no damage to the tacoma, my hitch took the entire impact. their car was a different story lol. Next morning Jasmine was suffering from the classic symptoms of whiplash and had to be checked out.

Only visible signs on my taco was some paint transfer.

We just recently finished a 3,400 mile, 9 day road trip that averaged us 17 MPG's a tank. Not bad for carrying 2 full spares and the rest of our normal crap that we carry :cookiemonster:

Dam your hitch literally shredded right through that hood! Its impressive what these trucks can take on.

Greg, I checked the bed, fenders, and rear of cab. Doesnt seem to be any sign of flexing into the cab. First thing I looked for. I know how easily they flex though my ex was rear ended in a base model regular cab and her bed pushed into the cab and left a dent. Kinda sucks!

You'll need to also check the crumple zones on the actual frame at the bumper/ hitch area. There's also a crumple zone where the strike pad for the bump stop is located. Also, check the bed bolts for signs of damage..if they are straight or not.

She really just wanted a ride in the truck. They all love the Tacoma's. Glad things didn't look bad at your end. Just a tailgate and bumper at the worst maybe.

This had the beginnings of a Penthouse Forums story....

Wow, not bad at all. I figured my overall average, and it's a hair above 16mpg with the bed loaded. Drafted over half the way there, so that helped. And next time Jasmine wants to have a carload of beautiful beach-bound ladies smack into her ass, you MUST POST PHOTOS OF THE ASS-SMACKERS!!! Not just the car.... (glad ya'll are alright)
