    My diagnosis is in.
I have Stage 4 non Hodgkin's lymphoma. Some treatment will start tonight here.
They will send me to USC or Cedars Sinai tomorrow
The chemo will be very aggressive and intense for 4 to 6 months at which time I'll be needing a bone marrow transplant.
I have a rare form of non Hodgkin's lymphoma that is attacking my skeletal structure instead of organs and the lymph system. It's good because it means all my vital organs are very healthy for the fight. Downside is that it requires more intense chemo that will be making me very sick for the duration of treatment.

Shit, Tom. I'm glad it isn't attacking your organs, but I'm very sorry to hear the diagnosis and treatment plan nevertheless. If there's anything I can do for you to help at all during the treatment, don't hesitate to ask. Even simple maintenence on the truck, etc.

Stay strong brotha. Your TW fam has got yours and Sebastian's back through all this shit.

Tom do you have a match for a donor? I will take the test, if need be.

Damn Tom sorry to hear that. Though, I guess on the bright side it's the best worst case scenario you could get. Do you have a match already?

Thanks guys I really appreciate your friendship this has been something in my body for a while. All those old man pains I thought I was having the last 1.5 years is directly related to this.
As far as a bone marrow donor I'm a long way from that right now but will keep you all in the loop on what I may need. It's possible that they use my own stem cells for the transplant so no donor is needed. Thanks for the offer and prayers it won't ever be forgotten.

Damn man I'm truly sorry to hear that. I hope that the treatments kick this things ass good and quick. I will also take any test to be a possible donor if you need anything. Seriously man anything you need don't hesitate to ask. Prayers for you and your family.

Hope you get better Tom. I was hoping it was just old man pain as the problem. Go kick some Stage 4 non Hodgkin's Lymphoma ass. It doesn't roll off the tongue so well you try to say it.
