My bad. We almost always go on Sunday morning usually like once a month atleast. Ill let you know next time we go out. It was a last minute thing too i didnt even hear about it until after i got home from the redline meet otherwise i woulda told you

so you'd agree that's a possibility? a few guys mentioned getting an alignment may help with that. Planning on getting an alignment this week. We'll see if that helps it.

Yea. I can see why that would happen with increased articulation. I got my lifetime Firestone alignment for $199. I've had about 6 alignments since I've had my truck. I bought it in April 2013. Definitely worth it.

 

I did it the last two years. It was pretty cool. Didn't sign up this year cause I couldn't afford it. Did you sign up this year?

Yeah, I got the Firestone lifetime alignment too. gotta go get my second one today.

first year not so much, maybe $30-$40 worth. last year I got a little carried away but because it was for a service member.

Fucking guys at Firestone can't get my alignment numbers right with the TC UCAs. Anyone ever had to get extended length tie rods? That's what they're suggesting. They said to bring it back in tomorrow when their more experienced tech is in. Hopefully he knows what he's doing.

 

That's why I plan on getting light racing uca's.

Maybe you have a tweaked spindle. both of my original spindles were bent even with gussets welded in place not allowing proper alignment. if the other dude can't get it with in spec then go to another shop for a second opinion, and if they can't get it then something is fuckey

 

God I hope not. I've wheeled it hard but not THAT hard. Although if they were bent I'd be able to convince the wife to let me get some maxtracs....hmmm maybe I just say that's what it is anyway. . I'm gonna take it back in tomorrow and see what they can do. I think the guy doing it was fairly new at alignments. He said he had the tie rods out all the way but when he showed me I only saw maybe 10-12 threads showing. Aren't there like 30 something threads on the stock rod? Can't remember the numbers he had up but caster was something like -4.2/-6.4 or something like that. I paid for the Firestone lifetime alignment I really don't want to have to pay to get it done somewhere else.
