Top one looks super ricey! And idk if it fits the truck... but maybe. The second one does look a little cluttered but I like it. And the third looks expensive, and where would it be mounted?

Negative sir...supposedly chuy is giving me the stock headers with O2 sensors when I get the engine so I'm not too worried about it
But my rear driver side cat rattles a lot more during cold start up :pout:

I do actually like it...not gonna lie.
I don't like the front bumper tho...

I don't think there's really any sort of service period for o2 sensors...but I've seen them go bad anywhere from 2yrs old to 10 years old. kinda all depends on how much your drive and where/how you drive. they're so much cheaper than buying a new cat that it wouldn't be a bad idea to just preemptively change them every 3-4 years.

    Damn things are expensive too.

If you have v6 there are 4.

    2 upstream which are expensive.

2 down stream not to bad in price.

lol ^^ this fuggin' guy! :D

yeah but you change them twice in 8 years and that's still not as much as a new cat...but the cat could still fail on you anyway and then it'd be $2000...

Down stream O2's only measure CAT efficiency, nothing to do with the life of the CAT. The front ones adjust air/fuel, but until they actually malfunction and throw a code there is very little chance that changing them will extend the life of the CAT

I thought if the downstream ones detect that the output from the cat isn't what it should be it'll still cause it to adjust the fuel/air?

It shouldn't, their only job is to monitor, the front O2's should control everything. If rears detect catalyst inefficiency it just throws a code that your CAT is bad

so you are pretty much saying wait until the kick the bucket and then change if need?
