Curiosity. I didnt know if that was how the trail was. I may make a run to cleghorn in the near future, so I was just curious. It looks like a cool area. Do they ever close it down, and if so is there some way to check? Also do you need an adventure pass?

 

The only time they close it if there was fire on the hill, other than that it is open all year. Is far as i know you don't need adventure pass. I am tired of cleghorn, i like pilot rock better.

 

I take it Pilot Rock is more difficult then cleghorn. I want to check out cleghorn. That is the first place you guys told me to go.

 

You could also try Lytle creek, mostly fire roads.

I was wondering about this. So day use you don't need a pass but if you stay overnight you do. How well do they enforce this? Yearly adventure pass isn't much right? like $50?

When i ohv. Or when i cliff jumped in azusa years back. You need one to park and leave your vehicle. If your are just passing thru. You dont need one.
