idk if I can make the Yorba meet thursday due to work but I will try.

 

Got up this morning to my girlfriend saying "that rain is coming down hard."
Thats when we both remembered that her truck's wiper blades were shit and needed to be changed.
So I rushed down to Walmart at 6:40am to buy her some blades before she had to leave to work at 7am for Redlands.
By the time I get back home, there was no time to switch them out.
So I suggested to take my truck instead, and Ill just take hers to work.
Around 7:50am I get a call from her saying someone had just rear ended her, minor fender bender so she was ok. She took down the girl's information, but my chick said there was no damage to either vehicle.
I'll have to be the judge of that later this afternoon...

 

Hope you're joking and if not hope your girlfriend is ok and the damage is minor if not none at all as stated.

 

Wish I was joking, but its all good, she was a little shaken up but said she was fine. That poor truck has been through a lot since I got her this year lol

 

You need to keep a tow hitch on your bumper. They can take a hit.

 

Sorry to hear about the fender bender.
I generally think the same way Oscar, but after seeing a few threads where people had the tow hitch on I can't agree. Those guys had minor visible damage to the body but the tow hitch bent their frames.

 

i had minor damage thanks to the tow hitch back in 2011:





but screw the truck, as long as the occupants are ok. thats all that matters.

 

This Is why i dont keep mine in. My friend has had this happen.

 

If it hit Hard enough to bend the frame The hitch wouldn't help. but for smaller fender benders its all good.

 

Thanks, ya she sounds like she will be just fine. Maybe I should take advantage of this and explain to her the importance of investing in a lift and armor...

 

Shes going to feel guilt for a while. She might have a sore back tomorrow.

I've been hit ("fender benders") twice on my rear plate bumper already, maybe even 3 times, can't really remember now. They all had pretty good front end damage and all I've had to do is shake up a rattle can, and spray for all of 5 seconds
