Update. They explained to me corporate cant do anything for me. He tells me he will personally order me OEM headlights and I will only have to pay a fraction of the cost. $94.18. I'm over this whole shit show so I agree.

1/6 - Headlights come in. They aren't OEM but DEPO. He tells me they are OEM. I told him when did OEM switch to DEPO headlights. He said this is what corporate sends him to do the warranty headlights. I told him he's either lying to his customers or an idiot. He says he only does what corporate tells him to do. Whatever. I buy the DEPO headlights, as I am paying he mentions he saw me look at the T4R brochure in the lobby (just had a baby. Wife wants an SUV) and wanted to know if I wanted to look at them since he'd give me a killer deal. I had the "Are you fucking kidding me?" face but only said "There no way I'm ever coming into this dealership again."

So in the end...I'm sure I bought my own headlights. However, I'm ecstatic that I went through this for some headlights and not a brand new vehicle.

I don't have really any other good pics. I mostly road around on the bike. I might chop something out of the go pro. The other guys got a good amount of pics. We did light a couch on fire. All the pics I grabbed I put in that thread.

Screw Christmas trees furniture burns better and long. Here is another pic I liked from the top of a sand dune.

 

Awesome pics! We did Christmas trees as usual this year but no pics or vids... we used to be in awe of Christmas trees burning... now we do it for tradition... next time I need to burn furniture. That looks intense!

 

When are you going to be back in town for an off road trip?

 

Two weeks! I'm replenishing everything that was recently stolen from me, though, like my air compressor.... :/ A few more things and I'll be ready to offroad again. Any trips in the works?

 

Well that sucks! Sorry to hear you had stuff stolen. There is one trip in the works for the end of February but idk if you will still be in town for that one. We could always think of some sort of adventure, lol.

 

M'eh. It happens. Thankfully have renter's insurance, so I'm getting $$ back. Gonna catch those f*ckers, though...

Hello fellow Tacoma World people! It is time for a real off road and camping Adventure. Hungry Valley getting a little played out? This is your chance to join in on something new and different. I am setting this trip up for the last weekend of February 2016. camping Saturday night and Sunday night, returning Monday.

I assume it will be pretty cold, so be prepared guys and gals.

Also, AB is the only national park in CA that you can still free camp (in designature areas). There are reserved camp locations too. Which have shitters and showers. Reserve America website should have what's available.

#1 rule is leave no trace.

#2 you have to bring a fire pit in. You CANNOT dig a pit. We took an old stainless steel washer drum. From the size of this group you may need 2. I bought a mix of Pine and Eucalyptus from South Bay Firewood on Rosecrans in Hawthorne. Bring a shit load 3/4 of my short bed was just wood.
