Explorer gets shit gas mileage. Or at least the TT does. It's her choice. Her mom said we could buy her Explorer. Which is the top trim and TT and really nice but we decided against it due to her siblings throwing a fit for obvious reasons.
Consumer Reports had a create magazine dedicated to purchasing new/used vehicles. The ranked everything and in any category you can think of. I need to read into it more as I remember the Durango having mediocre ratings but CR still recommended it.

Anything will be better than her current 08 Mazda3

 

my sister in law has the highlander and its nice but the 4runner is definitely better. thats what my wife is gonna get next. my sister has the pilot and thats another nice option too

It's the newest one (14). So far it's been running well, but I never looked up anything about it. I'm a long shot away from a suv.

 

I was finally able to get the dealer to figure out what the problem is, the master tech stated and showed me that the motor mounts are in fact failing and starting to collapse. Someone from Toyota corporate is coming out to the dealer tomorrow to do a further inspection and to decide what they are going to do. one tech tried telling me that my suspension was causing it but the master tech told me that that guy doesn't know what he's talking about and said it has nothing to do with suspension components, he said that the mounts are at fault. Ive been trying to find some threads about this same problem but im having a hard time finding some good sources to show the guy from corporate just in case they don't want to do anything. I'd like to be as prepared as possible

 

Yeah its on my 15' I talked to someone who works for Toyota when I was at supercross this weekend and he said he's heard of it happening to 13's as well and he said Toyota should fix it. ill try and crawl under there and get a picture of it for you guys

Yeah my sisters is a 2014 awd with all the options. I was surprised how much room inside and cargo. Big car for sure. She lives down a dirt road in Tehachapi and it does well in all conditions. The new ones are very much a mini-van.

 

Toyota never had strong motor mounts. I'm plating mine up soon before I do solid mounts

 

If they fix it, I'll be dropping the truck off at solo the same day I get it back and have them gusset the mounts and alignment tabs
