    You think commercial is easier? I feel like resi is easier cause it's mainly just power and lighting and commercial has way more. I've only really done side work resi but I do all commercial for work. I love it cause I feel like it's way harder and more challenging

    Its the same to me. Install box, run wire/bx/flex/conduits install panel or panels. Breakers, devices and lights; test your shit. I personally dont think one requires more skill or is easier. Just persanl preferences.

    Maybe easier wasn't the right word. More simple? Basically a house is mainly plugs and lights and commercial there is way more stuff going on than just that. But ya it's the same basic concept

    You have not wired a custom home. It getts complicated when you have whole house lighting/motor/controlling distribution. Like picture if you walked into one of your buildings and pushed whatever style keypad your heart desires. Push one button and a specific payhway or features turn on.
    You can even turn your house or building into a smallworld type scene if you want. In a matter of speaking.

    Id like to try and find a first gen that may already be caged and ready to go especially since there are less electrical components to them and I wouldn't worry about scratching it up at all

    No it was because I got tired of dealing with Toyota, they wouldn't warranty anything on my truck even when I went to corporate people. Hell when my truck only had 400 miles on it the power steering/rack went out due to the fittings or gasket not being installed properly from the manufacture and it was a fight to get them to swap it out
