Or, you're just not paying enough taxes during the year haha.

Just depends how you like to manage your money though...I know people that owe 5x what you do cause they like paying the least amount of taxes up front, to try and invest that tax money and make a better return on it before the end of the year.

Being single, no house, no dependants, and in the tax bracket that I'm in, I know what you mean though!

 

You'll be beating it up for me as well if you understand where i'm coming from!

 

I'm in the same boat as you guys. I switched a few years back to no dependants. I get a little bit back. Wish houses in socal aren't so expensive.

 

I rather just do a condo and find a garage to share rent on to store and work on my truck.

 

Seriously!! It's a real PITA to try and save over $100k just for a down payment!!

dang i did my taxes and got 4k back. i don't know what id do if i had to owe at the end of the year. I'm gonna buy a house in the next couple years tho hopefully

I'm still going through my Union to get the form that the IRS requires now showing you have insurance for the months throughout the year. Those idiots at the Union have me only having insurance May and April. I work a steady 40 every week and have for however long I've been on management.

I mentioned to them about having the kid in December and the dumbass actually told me they show I worked zero hours and if there was an error I will be held liable for what they "accidently" paid out for my zones birth. I have to gather all my check stubs and tell them to do their job.

I was once part of the local sheet metal workers union 170 and it was a cluster f***quite a bit!
