    With the fan you could get away with 4.
    But the spread would look kinda funny in that size room.
    I would do six 5in cans. The led trims are the same for 5 and 6in cans and they only run about 13 watts, for an led style.
    I know what you meant though remember to use a
    C-L style dimmer when trimming out
