Bypassing the chute is generally a good idea for abybody who cares about body damage. Sometimes, using gravity is your only option if you take it wrong and you risk damage.

I agree. Getting past the first hill is the only real challenge and it is a fun trail that. I once did a night run with a group of friends there. We met up at the dam at 7pm and after stopping a hundred times to fuck around, a 36 pack later, at least a 100 round pack of ammo lighter, and turning my front r&p into chunks of metal in my front diff, I ended up getting home at 7 am. It was a wild night.

 

Then you turn in to that guy who made the thread the other day about getting sliders before you need them.

 

Last time I was in pilot rock like a month or so, there were only a few off chutes, most I couldn't do with my current tires. The main road had just been freshly graded.

You would be surprised how confident you get once you install ARB's f/r. The first time you go out, you literally feel like you are cheating and wondering if anybody notices that you are cheating.

 

It is overall an easy trail. It is fun though to just be out there with a good group of people on a night run and take your time running it.

Asphalt and concrete don't counts

 

Maybe not by themselves, but when you factor in the dirt inside the planters and the loose gravel on the asphalt, then he technically wheels all day everyday
