    my issue is the damn pitch of the garage. the. drawers are smooth, they'll open if not latched. next step is to build a shim. that runs the length of the two boxes with wheel locks.

    just a note, I had a husky box like this, same finish...it was a tin can, really thin. was not impressed and would be worried about the big drawers loaded up. The HF are stout. Drilled a hole to power up the top and the steel did not go w/o a fight. Color me impressed.

    craftsman is not the same brand as Sears that we all knew and could depend on dad's trusty ratchet. Trademark got sold, now its whatever crap they want to blow out through Lowes/online/etc.

    The HF series 2 boxes are stupid good. They have to be heavy and deep to circumvent the tariffs. I've been kicking this around for over a year now and I'm absolutely sure the HF is the best you can get for your dollar. My wife knows waaaaay too much about them as a result. my only regret is not being able to justify fap-off for my garage bs tinkering.

    Most metal comes from recyclers in China. Doesn't matter what brand is on the outside label. I'll throw a caliper on it and get some measurements. They are stout and weigh twice as much as the tin can boxes they replaced (2 husky top+bottom, small top 5 drawer).
