Added some @Diode Dynamics ss3 fogs and I have to say that they definitely look good! What do you guys think?

Passenger side is stock with a yellow bulb driver side is the SS3

Anyone know of a shop in or around chino to get my AC checked out?

The two passenger side vents aren’t blowing very cold. Got a bit of a hiss as well. Hope it just needs a recharge and there isn’t a leak. Has anyone experience something similar?

 

Took my 08 here a few weeks ago, my stupid compressor seized up and had to be replaced.

It's only the passenger side? If the driver's side gets cold I wouldn't think its the compressor but probably just the hvac blend door actuator.

 

Have you tried recharging the system? I had a similar issue. Bought a can from the parts store and the gauge said I was very low. Charged it up and blows cold now.

I absolutely would not do the can method if you plan to keep your truck long term it’s like putting the tire goo fix a flat if you get a flat tire instead of patching it. It’s a temporary fix that fucks up your system and an ac guy will probably charge you a shit ton more to fix it. Take it to a proper ac shop they have the machines and put the dye to detect a leak. There’s one in norco if that’s closer to you that I used before.
I would only use the vato zone cans if you’re going to dump your truck soon and say fuck the next guy

 

It's a short term fix. AC is a sealed system, the leak is normally an o-ring. Take a to an AC shop and they can determine the issue, you will be surprised how much better if you go to an AC shop. Read the reviews for the shop and you should be good.

 

I have a blown head gasket on my 1GRFE motor and was wondering if anyone here has a recommendation for a machine shop in the 626 area to rebuild my heads?

 

i had my head gasket replaced by a toyota dealership in 2021 but I know someone recommended me with a local shop just need to figure out where and who it was... let me look.

I feel like everyone grew up and started a family. I still have my tacoma but it's pretty much stock. I'm more about function over fashion now haha. I'm probably getting rid of my tacoma soon tho. just hard to justify spending 100k on a new truck
