I don’t see what you mean by pompous, he’s just trying to make a living. The seekoutbeauty interview was awesome for sure. Awesome truck in my opinion, I wouldn’t spend that much or do some of the things he did though.

I agree. Better to spend on a truck like that than some of the other stuff people dump money on.

Nope. I'm just neither for or against them.
But man, it's a truck build. He put however much into it. I wouldnt put that much into a build. Ask Seekoutbeauty how much he put into his build. I bet at least 20k. Some people on here put a crap ton of money into their builds. Don't hate people for spending money.

At first I use to bash on styles other than my taste. Then I realized we all have the same passion for MODDING.. and that's what I'm all about. (Extra points for MESO parts!)
I'm sure people look at the rifle cases on my roof and automatically conclude I'm mega LARPing:rofl:
Ha.. you don't even want to see my receipts. :anonymous:
For me, It doesn't come down to money. Rather, the satisfaction I get from something new I built. Modding is a rabbit hole and DEFINITELY not an investment. But we all have our own individual hobbies that are not the best financial decisions.

Exactly. I'm not judging people by how much money they spend.

Agree, sort of. Successful marriages aren't about physical age, but have everything to do with maturity.

Example- if you just dropped 24k on a financed car without taking a minute to discuss that decision with your spouse, I predict bad news in your future marital status....

No one was judging him for how much money he spent. Maybe some people were. I think most of the judgement comes from the poor judgement this person seems to be displaying. Hiding it from their wife. Decking out a Tacoma with faux-offroad capability (maybe shoulda stuck with the STI?). Using their business account because they probably had a higher credit limit which indicates that this person didn't have the money, they're financing this whole thing and probably paying interest on it. Those are just a few of the things being judged in this thread.

Meso is being chill about it, but I don't think these two are cut from the same cloth. Meso has a passion for modding. This dude has a passion for being seen where ever he goes.

Anyways, to each their own. If he has the money all the power to him. If he doesn't, and that's more than anything what he's hiding from his wife, the guy is a douche.

Looks around :spending:Now you tell me this truck isn't a long term investment!?

I imagine a financial advisor would laugh me out of his office if I brought him my my tacoma receipts. I look at it like this: At least it's not drugs.

I very much doubt he’s hiding it from his wife. That sure sounded like a joke to me. Anybody see the laughing face on the screen right then? And do you really think he’d say that on video knowing his wife might see the video? Please. He may have financed it or whatever, but I doubt he could manage to hide it all.
Also, he admits it’s partly a mall crawler. I’ve talked to people with big lifts that offroad just fine. It may not be the best offroad but at least he admits it.

You'd be surprised what mods someone could hide from the wife :anonymous:.

But definitely dont think he was joking. He went into too much detail about using the business account and sponsors for it to be a joke

Pffft. It’s a joke, change my mind.
And yeah, I imagine you could hide small mods from your wife. I’m 16 so I don’t have that problem.
