Yeah, i'll live. Metal Tech said ship m back and they'll send the correct ones. Slows the build down. I knew something was'nt right when the castle nut would'nt go further than a couple threads. We didnt have that prob with Miquels. Looks like you can get right to it on Sat, i see the coilovers are already built. Saves time. I'm gonna attempt my rear leaf's tomorrow. I did my homework, but its a first for me. Hopefully goes smooth. Hey, are you gonna put boots on your rear resi's. I'm thinkin about it.

Dont have a pic. metal techs website shows them on the Icon kits. It covers the exposed shaft. I know they are pretty bullet proof but figured they might protect and expensive piece of the equasion

anybody know a welder or shop thats pretty local that will do a cab mount chop ? I think i can handle the trimming but need someone to weld on the new material etc. What do you think it will cost? Any input would be great. I'm goin all out. I'm thinkin 285's. Thanks

Alright I follow you now . I didn't know they made those . I'll look into it .

I cut mine last weekend . Very simple with a angle grinder .I would think it wouldnt cost to much to have a plate welded in. I'm having my roommate weld mine up at his work . And if he cant do it I'll borrow a welder from him and give a shot myself .

Anyone know of a place to have my top plates for the lift installed. I hate how my truck sits lower in the front lol. I went to ntb and sears auto( there really cheap when I go there) and they both said about 300 to 400. You have to be kidding me. It isnt a long job. So much money. Any suggestions guys.

I personally like when a truck has a little forward rake. For me anyway, the front is lower because I use the bed a lot, so a sagging rear end looks even more dumb, in my opinion. My truck was level at first, I actually lowered the front 3/4"
