65,000 miles sr5 Tacoma at auction for estate, ONE OWNER, NO RESERVE,3 hours left at 6500.00

I was going to chase this Tacoma, then really decided I don't need two of them,
it's here in Denver the truck has 65,000 on it, being sold for an estate, no reserve.
I took a look at it today

V6, 5speed, factory sunroof, sr5 package, bucket seats, electric windows and antenna,

Some small surface rust on the axle and springs, frame looks good.

Paint needs to be buffer out, inside is a little smelly, maybe cigarettes
Rear shocks look shot and leaking rear diff drain plug

No accident, no dings or dents, tailgate has some paint scratches

Hopefully someone here could use this truck. Just passing this info on.

Yup, needs a good cleaning and rear shocks are rusty, looks all original.
Tires are 1/2 worn

interesting this does not look to have the Toyota privacy glass in the rear
I thought that was standard?

 

Not sure what is standard and what is it and what’s not it does have a factory sunroof that I do know, i’ve actually never seen a factory sunroof in person now I have

It still has the original hood blanket Looks to be in great shape still I do remember that

 

hood blanket is the heat shield pad??

did you see if the hood protector is a Toyota stamped one?
I could use a new one like that, my aftermarket just don't fit right

I just went to my local Toyota dealership they didn’t have one in stock, there was one in another city hundreds of miles away and I picked it up to days later, It’s still in its box in my garage my old one has a crack in it

 

so that was the last one?

I checked two dealers here and camelback in AZ and no luck

 

I don’t know if it was last one or not they didn’t have one in stock in Denver this one came out of Fort Collins if I remember correctly

Floor mats they probably do not have but if you take your time you’re fine on eBay usually for $100 or less for set up if you’re patient I probably have bought three sets of eBay blue gray in the last 10 years

 

I am gonna call Toyota Corporate and ask them to start reproducing some of these select interior parts for us 1st genrs
they should have the molding specs on some computer somewhere
if enough of us keep calling they just might, you never know

 

8 hours to go at 6100.00

 

the only thing more exciting I can think of is if this was the VERY FIRST ONE made up for bids

nobody here on TW yet has come forth to admitting they put a bid in onit

its definitely hard for me not too, but my funds set aside to pick up one of those new sporty Corolla hatchbacks in 6sp only problem is I gotta drive 400 or 500 miles to test drive the stick, local dealers are not stocking the 6sp
