I'm really sorry to hear that you have already had an issue with your Taco. I haven't heard any stories about this happening with anyone else. But at least this is popping up while still under warranty.

None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars
Take it to the dealer, if there is a problem its theirs. Rear seals can easily be fixed. get it to the dealer , these things do happen. Let us know how it goes.

That really sucks !, sorry to hear about this. I don't care what brand you drive be it a Toyota or a Maybach, there should be no problems at 6500 miles. As it was said earlier, take it to the dealer and have the warranty take care of this issue. Have the dealer give the truck a once-over to make sure all is well and although you have the right to be angry, don't be , you'll catch more fly's with sugar than vinegar ! If it's possible make a friend in the service dept. I brought in some donuts one day for the service crew & mechanics, not only did it make them feel good and appreciated, I benefited from it also, for the cost of a couple dozen donuts. I now get phone calls immediately when the service is done, follow up calls to see if the work done was done properly, and if there is anything else that they could do, and the truck gets washed when it's ready, that's pretty cool. Good luck-Drive on.

Yup, I was going to say that was just a seal. No big deal, as you've found out. Glad it worked out for you.

BTW, you have any pics of that Ford in your signature? I'd like to see them, if so.

Glad you got it fixed with a minimum of hassle. It sure did not sound like a common problem.

Nice to hear that someone has a nice old hotrod and I see your from Nevada, must be a fair amount of nice old rust free cars and trucks out there. Save those oldies.
