Hey all. For those of you that missed Gorman, it was awesome. First meet up I've been to that had that many trucks out there. Unfortunately, it looks like two people got fucked up and rolled a truck. broke their bodies including a broken neck and collapsed lung, so that sucks, but they are all good. Lets all get together again and be safe!

Here's a question for all of you. What's the legality of mounting two seats in the bed with proper seat belts for people to ride around in? Long story short I'm considering buying my next tacoma and need the long bed but want the ability to carry more people. I'm pretty sure I can do this, but I'm not sure if I need a camper shell as well. Any help folks?

What can you do? You weld or anything like that, mang?

Also, not to sound ignorant, but aren't you a firefighter… in cali? I ask more for the ability to work some OT which most people in your field have plenty of!!!

Yeah I use to be a firefighter a few years ago until I messed up my knee. Now Im a medic for the film industry (A lot less labor intensive). Its a roller coaster type of job, so with that said, its very slow as it is this time of year. I have plenty of time on my hands to make extra cash for important things (really more to build my tacoma and pay for scuba).

I did a side job doing finished carpentry and that lasted for two years. That was a while back.

I wish I could weld. That would be a great skill to learn and appreciate. But really I can learn anything. Ive done brush clearance using saws, carpentry, some handy work here and there to driving deliveries. If I can be an extra pair of hands to anyone, I'll be glad to take the job.
