6k or 5k HID's????

    20% tint, painted handles,painted grill, wet okole seatcovers,sockmonkey decals
    i had 6k in my 08 taco and liked them, but i wondered what 5k would look like...if it may be brighter or what? whats ur guys opnions

    As mentioned 5000k will be less blue and brighter. In my previous vehicle I originally had a 4300k kit which is the brightest/whitest and swapped out to 5000k bulbs and there wasn't too much of a difference. Very very faint hint of blue. Whereas 6000k has a very noticeable blue to it. I like 5000k myself if you're not using projectors(although I'd never run them again without proper retrofit) and 4300k if you're doing a proper retrofit.

    I just ordered a 4500k kit from ddmtuning, which I'm guessing is really 4300k. Did have 6000k before they quit on me. Hopefully it will be brighter, because the 6000k wasn't as bright as I was expecting.

    I had 5000k from DDM on my Jeep. I liked them better then my buddies 6000k

    if you want less blue go 4300K brighter than 6k and 5k. :)
