I can see i'm going to like this thread. We just went to the tree farm we've been going to for the last 7-8 years and tagged the tree we want. We'll go up and get it probably next weekend, its a 7-8' concolor fir. We go kinda nuts with the Christmas stuff, especially inside the house. Its just so much fun with 2 little kids. I will definitely share pictures when its all up.

This thread is a blast every year. We see all sorts of creative things. One fella even has a tree mounted perpendicular to the floor from a second story. He posts it up each year. Tacomas, pets, sweaters, pajamas. We see all things holiday on here!

I guess she isn't in the Christmas spirit this year. It's a ton of work to pull it out of the storage cabinets, apartment living.

We had one year many years ago when we moved 2 days before Christmas. We were living out of boxes with no time or energy to try and get the tree up. On Christmas eve I came home to a little 18" prelit tree with a few cheap little decorations thrown on it sitting on our coffee table. The wife said...no way we aren't not having a tree.

We still have that little tree and always put it up in a shelf in our den as a reminder.

Here's my truck in front of Bricks Garden Center in Quakertown, Pennsylvania; My dad bought a cap for his truck here back in 1992, so I figured it was appropriate to make a pilgrimage here in my own truck almost three decades later!

If all goes according to plan, I will be putting the lights on the house this Sunday and we will be putting up the tree the first weekend in December!

We got our two trees up today. We put up a real tree in our Great Room and an artificial in the dining room. We couldn't find anything taller than a 10' tree for the Great Room this year - normally have a 12 to 13 foot tree.

We've been collecting Hallmark Nostalgic Shops and Houses and Classic American Car ornaments for something like 36 years - they all go on the artificial tree.
