    if someone lost a heat shield under the cab, I picked it up from the side of the trail.
    Looks like driver side 2nd gen. Haven't confirmed yet for sure that it isn't mine though.

    I just hit it with an electric pressure washer, then liberally spray simple green, wipe down a few areas, then spray it off. Then I start up the truck and let it run for a bit.. usually while spraying off the rest of the truck. After I shut it off and let cool for a bit, spray ArmorAll tire foam all over it and then wipe off the excess after like 20 min. You don't have to do that part though, if you like it super shiny.

    The tire foam is what makes it look really clean. Also, you don't need to have a pressure washer. You can get away with doing it with a hose.

    I have an electric pressure washer as well, just need to do a plumbing fix to use it :facepalm: Yay homeowner status...

    I won't do the tire shine thing. Tends to turn things blue when clay gets on it. But thank you for the tips. Never considered Simple Green to be able to knock off the mud that well
