Got my hands on this first gen at auction 2002 164k miles 4x4, in the glove box was the manual, paperwork and even the original window sticker! The exteriors paint was a little faded being an Arizona truck, however the interior was very clean and grey (not a fan of tan). Truck had been in a rear accident it had damage to the bed, bumper, tailgate and frame. The truck came with old icon 2.5 coilovers, camburg uca upfront, Bilstein on the rear....

After sitting for several months I finally got my guy started on the frame and body damage. Don’t have any pics during the repair but here are some at the auction


After bodywork was done on of the leaf springs needed to be replaced so I ended up finding some brand new ome leafs on fb marketplace for cheap, now that my body guy was done, it was time for paint. I had a hard time deciding on color, I loved the original silver but I wanted something a little different. After a lot of debating I ended up going with the 2020 TRD pro army green paint. So since changing the color it entailed the door jambs need to be done as well and the tear down began. All the work was done in 4 days all by me alone.
Added the newer style Decal to the bed to break up the green.

After looking at the hood I thought it needed a scoop to try and copy the needs pros, I had a 2nd gen hood laying around and had my body guy graph it in.

More pics to come. Future mods are upgrade headlights, ditch lights, retrofit grill with pro style, new wheels and tires. Who knows what else.
