ok so heres the deal, any advice would be appreciated!...i was at a swap meet and i got a killer deal on 18x9 xd wheels with a 6x135 lug pattern, i kno the tacomas are 6x139 or so and i was wondering if it is possible to get a kit to make those 6x135 fit on my tacoma, or is it not safe or not worth doing this...any help is appreciated..thanks in advance!

Got you a set of Ford wheels did you? I would just sell them. You could probably find a wheel adapter to get them to fit, but the thickness of it would likely push the wheels out too far and cause some rubbing on the outer edge of the tire.

If you know anybody at a machine shop that deals with wheels have them "insert" them to 6x139 and open the center bore. I do it all the time for my customers. BTW whats the offset? A lot of 6x135 wheels are high (+30ish)... The adapter may put you right where you need to be. +30 offset plus 1.5" adapter gives you approximately 4.5" backside. Just a thought.
