Glad for that input. Not happy with my center channel position and was thinking of fabricating a device to hang the center speaker below the table....

Haha good point. I used to not care about it all, then I had a unit fail on me. But hey, I did what you said...upgraded to better quality stuff, so I guess it worked!

That sucks...seems like moving this stuff around is never easy.

Not too big a deal , I'm a carpenter and built my existing cabinet out of regular plywood , nothing fancy , to make sure everything was where I wanted it before commiting to expensive material

No pics right now but I am running an Onkyo HT 260 7.2 receiver with monoprice speakers flush mounted in the front, center, sides and in the ceiling above the seating position for the rear surround. I am using a Polk 12" sub in the corner. No need to run a second sub but I could if I wanted to. For viewing I use an Epson 8350 LCD projector ceiling mounted shooting the image onto an Elite motorized 100" screen.

I'll have to take some pics tonight and post them. I deleted all the ones I had.

Here's my setup with my center below the TV, as promised...I'm happy with how it turned out and how it sounds.

    Onkyo TX-NR708
    PS3
    Sony KDL-52XBR4
Aperion Audio 5T fronts, 5C center, 4B surrounds (not pictured), and 8D subwoofer, all in cherry finish.
I chose to run 12 ga shielded wire for the whole system.

    Hope you guys like.

Looks great! I've been avoiding mounting to boob tube to the wall just in case the funiture gets moved but, I like your set up enough I'm going to have to make that a project.

That's really clean too. Nice that you put the wires in the wall also.
