see heres the deal...at least here...it's illegal to wear a mask that conceals your face...its NOT ILLEGAL to wear a hood

the businesses that have this policy have instituted it because of past problems

wearing a hood outside on a cold day is perfectly acceptable

its not hard to just pull the hood back when you walk thru the door

Businesses have every right to have customers abide by a blanket policy such as no hoods/sunglasses/etc when they enter the business...just like you have every right to not allow the stranger walking down the street to enter your property

the same goes for firearms...a company has every right to restrict firearm possession on its property...like you do on your property...

spend a week with me...see just how many armed robberies that take place involve someone wearing a hood...

its incredibly frequent...the 4 ive personally worked in the past 2 weeks have ALL involved MULTIPLE individuals wearing hoods...the officer (my cpl) who had a mac-10 pointed and presented at him last night...that guy was wearing a hood

say what you want...but stereotypes come from somewhere...and if not allowing hoods in a business keeps those other law abiding customers and employees safe...then so be it...

youd be surprised at how inaccurate this is...at least in my area...

most of the stop-and-robs have begun using the safety window that doesnt allow customers inside and behind very thick glass...

its a lot easier to "disappear" after the robbery when theres traffic to blend into

For the record I understand why the policy is in place although I question its effectiveness and I'll take my hood off in the future. The clerk made it sound like this policy was common knowledge and I should have known better. I just wanted to see if anyone else had heard of it.

People that wear hoods on inside a store are just as idiotic as people that wear sunglasses indoors and are not blind or sensitive to light.

I have proscription sunglasses so it's easier for me to leave them on for a quick in and out cause it's hard to see without them. I don't always remember to swap glasses before I leave my truck.

Also as far as hoodies go you can just tuck it into your shirt. Or is the policy of the hoodie the act of wearing it on your head vs. wearing a shirt that happens to have a hoodie?

And "do 33's fit without lift?" questions have been answered before this forum started but those are still around. If it isn't locked it's ok to post.

I saw a sign on a local sketch mart here recently. Meh don't bother me, I take off my hood when I go indoors anyway, it's not cold indoors.

Sooo you can wear a hooded sweatshirt in the store, it's just the hood itself has to be down right?

    Never heard of this. Interesting

Some call it courtesy, so people who work for wages that don’t justify risking their life have a general feeling that you’re not there to kill them for $73 and some cigarettes.

It’s not cold inside, or bright. Be a decent human and remove your face mask, hood, and dark ass glasses.

So you joined a truck forum just to bitch about your 7-11 experience in a 8 year old thread?
