If anyone is looking to buy a GMRS radio bass pro shop, Staples and I believe Walmart sell them. You can pick up a set for like $38.

So I’m trying to work on finding somebody that Is experience with AOAA’s trails to guide us through it. As it sits now none of us have any experience up at AOAA, but myself and I’ve only been there once. Im trying sweeten the offer for someone to guide us through by offering to pay for them into the park. Would it be a problem if everybody kicked in $5 to pay for a guide to take us through if needed?

If you get a map at the font, you can follow it. Thats what we did when I went with just one other guy up there and we didn't have much experience at AOAA. A lot of the trails are marked at intersections

Remember: Pink and Black will take you back. Theres pretty good pink and black trail markers that will return you to the parking lot if you ever think that you're lost

Another option is one of the fancy GPS apps like GAIA, which will tell you stuff about trails and where you are

AOAA has a list of nearby places to eat if we want to do dinner and brews afterward. The most promising I see are Brewsers Sports Grille and

Any idea how long you guys plan to be out on the trails? This is really tempting but I have to convince the GF who's in town for a couple weeks. Since the Tacoma is lacking AC at the moment it might be a tough sell.

I can't go but have been to AOAA countless times. You guys will be just fine if you're planning on green trails. Download the "maprika" app and search for the AOAA trails. It overlays your GPS location onto the map, making it very easy to navigate around. And as mentioned, pink and black (signs with arrows) will get you back (to the main office). It's fairly well labeled and there's also pretty good cell service. It's a safe place to get out and explore.

Here’s the map in the Maprika app. I recommend downloading it at home before you go.

Honestly have no idea lol. I suppose it depends on conditions and how everyone's feeling. What answer would be good for you?
