I know have 122k on my '96. Since I have installed front brakes and rotors, replaced the valve cover gasket, sparkplug tube gaskets, new wires and plugs and the air filter.

Getting around 18mpg around town, haven't had any real highway time yet to report the mileage but there is a trip coming soon.

I have had a lot of offers for my truck... and a few I have considered. I do miss the room and power of a full size, but this truck has been handy getting around.

My main concern with my truck is, I has seen a lot of ECU threads and makes me wonder how the parts support for the older Taco's compare to say a '96 Ford or Chevy truck.

Do I hold on to her???

    Appreciate the responses!

That's good to know, I honestly have not looked into it. A guy at work is always telling me to start calling junkyards to obtain one.

Also don’t get rid of that thing. And the ecus fail but I’d bet it won’t.
