I know I already have another post up about a sled fitting but I aslo need to Know if the 700 Grizz will fit, I have one lined up to buy and it just dawned on me if it will fit or not. I have a Wolverine that fits no problem with the gate up, the Grizz is much bigger so Im a little worried.

I doubt it. I have a honda 500 rubicon and it will barely fit in the bed but then the roller fairlead hits the back glass, so I have to put it on a trailer.

I have a 750 king quad and it fits. I built a little ramp thing for my front tires to go up on and I can shut my tailgate with it in there.

Do you have a pic of it in your truck, I think I know what your talking about, so you tires are obviously hitting the wheel wells so you level out the end of the wheel well closest to the cab.

I used to have a BackRack on my rig but had to remove it because of the fairlead hitting , but fortunately my winch was low enough to not hit the glass it just hit the cab.

I forgot to mention that it has 27in tires on aftermarket rims, Does your 660 fit with the gate closed.

Gate closed? No. But just barely.

I'll try and take a pic but it wont be anytime soon I dont think. Your right it is a platform that is almost level with the wheel wells. I think it is like an inch or 2 higher than the wheel well, but its close. You may need to make one a little higher with bigger tires but it should work, and it doesnt make the 4wheeler tipsy at all either just tie it down good.

i just fitted mine today, its tight ,you gotta shim the front a bit,the tailgate won t close, and i put some board in the front so the tire are a little bit higher and not wedge between fender well so much,i just tie it with 2 wheel strap in the rear ,drove around all day and it seem good..

Just to update, I did buy the Grizz and it does fit, the gate wont close without leveling the wheel wells. The only problem with elevating the front wheels is because of the height the fenders catch too much air, for long highway runs or on windy days you can really feel the drag, its like a parachute.

Im surprised a 700 grizz with 27s fit in a stepside 1st gen. must have been tight? Id like to see a pic just for fun lol. I called a guy that had a nice stepside for a ridiculously low price. but when i looked up the bed width and did the math i found that two streetbikes wouldn't fit comfortably side by side.

How wide are your tires and does the tires go between the wheel wells or go over them and fall into the space between the wells and cab?

i just got stock wheel on the quad with 26'' mudlite, not sure how wide, they do go between the fender well but it was wedging a bit so i lay 2 2x6 or so between the fender and since its a bit taper going to the top of the fender it made things go in really smooth
