700 miles on truck, havent engaged 4wd yet

You live in Washington State...You will use it..If not at least you have bragging rights.

 

No biggie. I went wheeling the first weekend I had mine.

 

The dealership told me that they tested the 4wd before i took delivery. You should be good to go! I had about 1000 before i used it for the first time.

With the snow that we've had in North Texas this past week, I've had it in 4hi every day! and wouldn't have it any other way.

 

It's not a big deal to not use 4wd all the time. It's just recommended to turn it on for a few miles every month, to help keep the front drive shaft/other parts lubricated.

When I got mine (used) the original owner said he never used 4wd. I got the truck from him with 22,400 miles on it. I used 4wd about 100-200 miles after I got it.

 

yeah, what he said. the owner's manual suggest a monthly romp with the 4x.

It's no big deal but you should at least try everything out to make sure it all works... then go up in the mountains and have fun as often as possible!
