    Right

And I am saying, they just did this with the Tundra PRO model. So using your supposition, a new Tundra should be here in 2019 ;)

should be, otherwise this gen is going on 12 yrs if they don't drop a new gen in 2019 model year. it was bad enough going 10 yrs on the Tacoma between 2nd and 3rd gen.

going to really hate if they drag the 4runner out to 10 yrs. current gen has been since 2009 and the mid cycle refresh was in 2014. hoping to get a new 4runner fall of 2018.

    Gotcha.

Appreciate the info. I have a deposit on a 17 PRO Tundra new, two states away. However, if you are saying 19 will have a new Tundra, then I can keep my 17 Taco PRO for another year

the only speculation is the engine/transmission.

here is what I am guessing :

    1. entune 3, replacing the current entune 2 (with a possibility to switch to android auto / iTunes carplay after a few years into model year. this has been alluded to by obscure press releases by Toyota)
    2. 360 birds eye view
    3. Push to start (PTS)
    4. LED tail lights
    5. 5.7 & 4.6 stays around
    6. switch from 6psd to the 8spd transmission from the land cruiser

I'm disappointed that the '18 4Runner still has the old stick gear selector. Don't know when they're planning to update that like they have on everything else.

Based on the info I've seen so far, I wouldn't expect to see a new one for 2019. Maybe 2020.

Want to pay off the Taco quick and get a Cement Tundra Double Cab before Toyota potentially ruins the Tundra with crap engine or design/style choices.
