Depending on where you live, your state may require sales tax on that payment per month. So in may case, it would be $75 x 6% = $4.50 So $79.50 per month.

Also....that $2500 out of your pocket is cap cost reduction. From their end, they're only coming off MSRP less than $900.

Still a strong deal for sure. But I would ask them to to lower the cap cost more from their end. That would reduce your cap cost reduction....in other words...something less than $2500

Bottom line is this....it's a good deal.

    However, they're relying 2 things:

#1 Most of the cap reduction being done by the customer.

    #2 Crazy high residual.

High residuals are good because they will reduce the payment. But not always good if you intend to purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease. The residual is your purchase price at the end of the term.

That's about what I have with my '20 SR V6 4x4 DCSB. Lease term is 24 months, 12k miles/year, and *COMPLETELY* $0 down (TTL and fees are all rolled into the lease). My payment is about $10/mo lower ($194) than a regular lease deal because I'm an employee meaning that the doc fee of $250 was waived.

When looking at a lease, I use the rule of thumb that the depreciation matches the total of payments. In this case, $2500/year to drive a basically new truck every other year is worth it. I did the yearly new truck with GM K2 four times ('15, '16, '17, and '18) and I managed to drive a brand new truck every year for about $2-3k per year expense (one year I made $2k). The hunts were exciting, but eventually I got tired of the annual repetition of buying-selling-trading process. This 2-year lease deal eases off half of the burdens by simplifying the buying process and eliminating the selling process by returning the truck to US Bank. In both cases, the maintenance cost is zero.

They also have a Tundra deal. $2500 down $158 a month, 10,000 a year, two year lease.

Again there are better deals to be had. This broker is the real deal, have read many happy customers say there were no surprises when they went to sign the deal with him.

Edit: He just posted the following earlier today. I believe these are zero drive off or possibly first month payment due at signing. They are all 4x4’s. Way better than that dealer ad.

What is the difference between a broker and a dealer?

A broker is an independent or works for a brokerage firm instead of a salesperson who works for one specific dealership. Sometimes there is a flat broker fee, sometimes the dealer where the car is ultimately purchased from pays the broker the flat fee. The brokers usually have connections and will negotiate deals with/from many different dealers to get a good deal on your behalf. This usually equates to a better deal with less hassle. Also brokers typically can get a variety of different makes where a salesperson sells the make of the dealer they are employed at only. Probably can find a better explanation out there but this gives you an idea.

Be Sure to check the contract. Low mileage for lease can = high mileage after lease expires = penalty per mile for overage. Years ago I had a friend (salesman ) get a sweet deal on a vehicle lease and ran his mileage WAY WAY over the lease. He Lost his job 3/4 the way through his lease and just parked it until the lease expired. Brakes were Gone along with many many " wear related maintenance items" that were skipped and had "excessive smaller damages" penalties. After fees, over mileage charges, per the lease, he should have bought the car at the beginning and then trashed it ....
