Does anyone have a spring compressor that could help me out for a few tomorrow (for some beer or something) if my crappy ones fail? I'm just looking for a back up plan.
    Thanks, Sam

I tried some of those, bend bend bend.

I've done probably 5 different sets and I've taken em to a shop with a HEAVY DUTY compressor, worth the 40 bucks.

What shop do you use? $40 isn't too bad. I got quoted $200 today, and laughed at the guy.

Well that's assuming you're taking them the coilover assemblies. I think Sears did it for like 40 or 60 bucks, been there twice but they weren't mine so I can't remember what my buddy ended up paying. That's Josh (sierrahsky)

Jim's tire in lovelock was I think 40.

A place in WY was 40 or 50.

And then I think we took one set to pep boys but I think we had problems and we might have taken them to sears after all.

So... I'd just call around. Les Schwab won't touch em, and I wouldn't have Big 0 do the work and probably not pep boys either but you might check with some of the other shops.

Yeah, i would pull the assembly's and take them in. Also not a fan of big o, and definitely not pep boys. Hopefully I'll be able to find somebody that can do it on a Saturday. Thanks Max!

I would steer far far far way from spacer lifts unless the truck never touches dirt. Save up and buy something good. If you are going to do it at all do it right the first time.

You can get a damn good setup for a lot less than a grand but a bit more than that.

My set up, 885 coils, aal(I would go progressive aal if I did it over) and ome shocks all the way around was only like $850 with the front coils assembled. I didn't get ucas either, those are coming soon.

Went out coyote calling this morning, couldn't get anything to come in, so me and the wife did some snow wheeling.
Hmm, my new phone is kicking my ass, stand by for pics. F. This sucks.
