IMO the Gaia app is one of the best navigation resources out there as long as you have your route somewhat planned out ahead of time and have downloaded all of the maps for the areas you plan on going. It might look like an expensive app at $20 a year but you also have to look at the costs for maps in general, two nat geo maps cost more than the Gaia app, plus you can download google earth sections, usgs topo, usgs aerial, OSM (open street maps), USFS maps, world topo, there is even a burning man map so when you're all hippied out out there you can find your way back to your camp...and the latest update gives you the option to print out your own maps/tracks. That being said my old man gave me a cheap Garmin windshield mount gps that has done pretty well too, but I wouldn't have bought it if wasn't given to me for free. I just like being able to see the aerial view of where I am with the Gaia app. Sorry for the long rant just my two cents.

Good country, we could head that way also, go through Union Pass, around the Raine mine. the roads are pretty good up that way. Still alot of stuff to play on

That works for me. I'm not to familiar with that area I've been up to Emigrant several times and over union pass once. I don't care either way I just want to get out and see what the new truck will do lol.:)

    Boo for no pictures!

I have OME 885s in the front, and just the stock pack with an add a leaf. With all my weight I am at only about 1.5" of lift, I want to get back up to about 2.5-3" and I am going to run 255/75R16. I am buying 886 coils and the dakar packs.
